  • My steam mop is not making steam but I can hear the motor.
    Chances are this is an air bubble in the lines. Tap the mop firmly on the floor a few times to get it steaming again.
  • My mop is still not steaming.
    Try running a bit of vinegar through your mop. There may be a mineral build-up from your tap water.
  • My mop has been damaged but it is outside of the warranty. Do you offer a repair service?
    Yes, we do; however, it is only available for Plus models. Email us for details.

Worst possible service, poor product quality

My wife purchased our Smart Living Plus steam mop in February of 2024. She used it for about a dozen times when in August of 2024 it stopped working, no longer producing steam. It was a replacement for our first Smart Living Plus steam mop that lasted almost ten years.

She first wrote the seller on August 31, 2024 to begin the process of warranty replacement or repair. After about a week she had no response, so she wrote again. Again, no response. she wrote again a week later and finally got a response. The seller indicated the unit was out of stock but that when it came back in stock he would send me a replacement.

When she learned the unit was again being sold online and listed as available, she wrote again requesting a replacement. As earlier, she received no response. She repeated emails several times without a response. In total, she sent 12 emails to this seller who continues to stonewall my warranty replacement.

The product reliability, lasting only 6 months with minimal usage, is extremely poor. The seller’s reliability and ethics are the worst imaginable, the worst we have experienced in more than 50 years.

I loved it until it stopped steaming

This is what you need to know, the email addresses they give you for customer service do not work. If you bought your mop through a vendor at a home and garden show, you have to contact the seller, not the company. They will do nothing for you. And if you don't have your receipt from the purchase, kiss your money goodbye. I think this is a scam. There is no accountability for their products and the company is shifting all the responsibility to the vendor. My lasted from March to June with minimal use.

I love my steam mop!

I purchased my mop at state fair in MN in August 2023. I bought it for our new home in AZ so I didn’t take it out of the box until December when we moved. I absolutely love this mop. It cleans my floors beautifully and it’s so easy to use!
While using it yesterday it stopped steaming and the blue light keeps flashing. I unplugged it for awhile and plugged it back in. It just keeps flashing the steam will not start when I push the button.
Please help me figure out what is wrong. as I love this product very much! I have only used this for a few months.

Mop passed my test!

I’ve never used a steam mop, but I was tired of spraying expensive hardwood cleaners on my floor and mopping with my microfiber pads only to be left with dirty floors after I was done mopping.
I thought my floors would be clean but I’d wet a paper towel and wipe some random areas to see if they were clean and the paper towel would be dirty! My remedy was always to try a new cleaner… but the paper towel test always revealed a still-dirty floor!
Until now. After I mopped with this steam mop, I did the paper towel test and my floors were clean! Nothing on the paper towel! Hopefully the product stands up, because it was easy to put together, easy to use and did a great job. So it’s gonna get a lot of use!

Best customer service.

A month ago I was so frustrated about my steam mop that broke after the second used. I wrote a report complaining about it but without any expectations someone from customer service contacted me and apologized for the unfortunate event. “One in every 100 may be a problem” that is what he said but they took full responsibility. I received a replacement within a week.
I take away my complaint because I was not expecting anyone to contact me since I know that warranty was only for a few months a had it for about two months and a half.
My old steam mop lasted for over 9 years with the same company.
