Toastie Convert

I am not a cook. I have used the toastie several times a week since I purchased one at a home show about a month ago. In addition to grilled cheese, you can make a good breakfast sandwich with an egg if you Hollow out a little space in the bread for the egg. I even made a hamburger. It may not look like something out of Martha Stewart but you can’t beat the prep time and clean up.
This is a perfect product for college students-I gifted my daughters at Christmas.

Great product for toast while in a small motorhome with a microwave

Love the concept but I have with a little concern with the effort and time required for total drying time after washing. The potential for rusting could be a problem.

Toastie is not a toastie

Hi - Just purchased this at the Vancouver Home Show - Looked like it was a good product - easy to use. Unfortunately the product does not toast evenly, and the cheese does not melt unless you put a very thin slice. I tried flipping the sandwich after 1 min as we were told but it still did not work as good as the oven or fry pan. For the price, it a hard pass on this product.
